STUNNING Phoenix Home in a Top Gated Community

Let me tell you something buyers keep saying over and over again.

They want modern design.

They want new construction.

They want mountain views — and not the fake kind where the mountains are 20 miles away on the horizon.

They want the mountains RIGHT outside their back door.

They want gated.

They want single-level homes.

They want luxury finishes.

They want space between neighbors.

And they want to still be close enough to shopping, dining, golf, and everyday life.

The problem?

That combination almost never exists all in one place in the Greater Phoenix area.

So when I tell you this community stopped me in my tracks… I mean it.

After selling real estate in the Phoenix Valley for more than 22 years, I can honestly say Regent Hills in Verrado is one of the most unique luxury communities I’ve seen in a very long time.

And yes… the mountain views are REAL.

WELCOME TO REGENT HILLS IN VERRADO

This particular home tour featured the Montura floor plan by David Weekley Homes — and if you’ve watched my videos before, you already know how much I love David Weekley.

Their homes always feel different.

Not cookie-cutter.

Not builder-basic.

Not “we slapped some cabinets in and called it luxury.”

They think through the experience of living in the home.

And the moment we walked into this one, the first thing that hit us was the VIEW.

Wall after wall of windows.

Natural light everywhere.

And mountains wrapping around the community in almost every direction.

This isn’t “mountains nearby.”

This is living IN the mountains.

THE LUXURY BUYERS ARE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR IN 2026

Here’s what’s happening in the Phoenix market right now.

Luxury buyers are shifting.

People are no longer just chasing Scottsdale zip codes because… honestly? Scottsdale prices have become insane.

And what buyers are realizing is this:

They care more about lifestyle than the city name.

If they can get:

  • gated living
  • mountain views
  • newer construction
  • resort-style amenities
  • golf cart lifestyle
  • modern architecture
  • and more house for the money…

…they’re willing to explore areas they never considered before.

That’s exactly why Verrado has exploded.

THE MONTURA FLOOR PLAN: MODERN DESERT LUXURY

This particular model may technically be one of the “smaller” floor plans in Regent Hills… but trust me, it does NOT feel small.

The home has:

  • dramatic ceilings
  • oversized windows
  • huge open living spaces
  • a modern gourmet kitchen
  • spa-style bathrooms
  • indoor/outdoor living
  • and one of the prettiest backyard settings you’ll find anywhere in the West Valley.

The kitchen alone is stunning.

You’ve got:

  • Monogram appliances
  • designer cabinetry
  • massive island seating
  • stacked upper cabinets
  • oversized pantry
  • gorgeous natural tones
  • and a layout that actually feels functional.

One thing I always point out when touring homes is where builders cut corners.

David Weekley doesn’t do that.

Other builders would have built solid walls where these homes have giant windows framing the mountains like artwork.

That costs builders more money.

But THAT is what creates luxury.

LET’S TALK ABOUT THOSE VIEWS…

The mountain views here are honestly ridiculous.

And what makes Regent Hills so unique is that the homes are all single-level.

That means:

  • you’re not staring directly into two-story homes
  • you don’t feel boxed in
  • and the views stay open and expansive.

That is incredibly rare in Phoenix new construction today.

A lot of builders advertise “view lots,” but then you realize your neighbor’s second story blocks everything.

Not here.

BACKYARD GOALS? YEAH… THIS IS IT.

The backyard design in this model was breathtaking.

View fencing.

Modern pool design.

Covered patio spaces.

Outdoor entertaining areas.

Everything was designed to make the mountains the focal point.

And honestly? That’s exactly what Arizona luxury living should feel like.

One thing I always explain to relocation buyers is this:

In Arizona, your backyard matters just as much as your interior.

You’re going to live outside here for much of the year.

And communities like this truly embrace that lifestyle.

SO… WHERE EXACTLY IS VERRADO?

Okay — let’s address the elephant in the room.

Verrado is in Buckeye.

And I know some people immediately hesitate when they hear that.

But here’s the reality:

Verrado is NOT “typical Buckeye.”

Not even close.

Verrado is its own little world.

Think:

  • tree-lined streets
  • golf cart culture
  • parks everywhere
  • mountain scenery
  • community events
  • Main Street charm
  • luxury homes
  • golf courses
  • coffee shops
  • splash pads
  • hiking
  • and resort-style living.

It feels more like a luxury desert town than a typical Phoenix suburb.

REGENT HILLS IS VERRADO’S LUXURY UPGRADE

Now Regent Hills takes Verrado to another level.

This is:

  • gated
  • elevated in the hills
  • more exclusive
  • more private
  • and significantly more luxury-focused.

The community will eventually have around 800 homes, but only about 100 lots were initially released — and they started selling FAST.

Why?

Because buyers have been waiting for this exact combination.

Especially buyers relocating from:

  • California
  • Washington
  • Oregon
  • Colorado
  • and the Northeast.

THE BIGGEST SURPRISE? THE PRICE POINT.

Here’s where people really get shocked.

Homes like this in North Scottsdale?

You’re easily talking:

$3M–$5M+.

But in Regent Hills?

You can still get into luxury mountain-view living around the $1M range depending on lot, upgrades, and floor plan.

And honestly… for what you’re getting?

That’s hard to beat.

THE PROS OF LIVING IN VERRADO

Let’s break down why so many buyers are gravitating here.

1. REAL MOUNTAIN VIEWS

Not distant views.

Not tiny glimpses.

Actual mountain living.

2. GATED LUXURY COMMUNITIES

This level of gated luxury is still relatively rare in the West Valley.

3. GOLF CART LIFESTYLE

Verrado has one of the strongest golf cart cultures in Arizona.

4. INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY FEEL

Main Street events, holiday festivals, splash pads, parks, golf, coffee shops — it actually feels like a community.

5. BETTER VALUE THAN SCOTTSDALE

Luxury buyers are realizing they can get dramatically more for their money here.

THE TRADE-OFFS YOU NEED TO KNOW

Now you already know me…

I’m not going to sugarcoat it.

Every city has trade-offs.

INTERSTATE 10 TRAFFIC

Yep. It’s real.

If you commute daily into Phoenix, traffic can absolutely get frustrating.

NOT A MAJOR LUXURY JOB CORRIDOR

This is more of a luxury suburb than a luxury employment hub.

A lot of residents:

  • work remotely
  • are retired
  • own businesses
  • or commute selectively.

STILL GROWING

The area is developing rapidly.

That means:

  • construction
  • expanding infrastructure
  • and evolving shopping/dining.

But honestly? That growth is exactly WHY values continue climbing.

VERRADO’S FUTURE IS HUGE

The growth happening in this area is massive.

You already have:

  • Costco
  • medical campuses
  • restaurants
  • shopping
  • hotels
  • golf
  • parks
  • hiking trails
  • and major retail expansion happening now.

And Verrado Marketplace is going to completely transform this area over the next several years.

This is no longer “way out there.”

This is one of the fastest-evolving luxury lifestyle areas in the Phoenix Valley.

FINAL THOUGHTS: IS REGENT HILLS WORTH IT?

If your wish list looks like this:

  • gated
  • mountain views
  • modern luxury
  • single-level homes
  • new construction
  • outdoor lifestyle
  • and upscale community living…

…Regent Hills deserves to be on your radar immediately.

Because communities like this do not come around often.

Especially at these price points.

And once the best lots are gone?

They’re gone.
