NEW Gated Community in Phoenix AZ with STUNNING Mountain Views + Model Home Tour
Let me tell you… I have found one of the most unique luxury communities I have seen in a very long time.
Mountain views.
Gated.
New construction.
Single-level homes.
If you have been searching for a luxury home in the Phoenix Valley, you already know this combination almost never exists all in one place.
And after selling real estate in the Greater Phoenix area for more than 22 years, I can honestly tell you this community is genuinely rare.
This is not builder marketing fluff where they say “mountain views” and the mountains are 15 miles away on the horizon.
No.
These homes are literally nestled into the mountains.
Some lots even have BOTH mountain views and city views at the same time.
So today, let’s talk about one of the most exciting luxury communities currently being built in the West Valley: Regent Hills in Verrado by David Weekley Homes.
And if this combination checks all your boxes… I would not wait.
WHY THIS COMMUNITY FEELS DIFFERENT IMMEDIATELY
The second you pull into Regent Hills, you notice this is not your typical production neighborhood.
The architecture feels elevated.
The lots feel larger.
The spacing between homes feels intentional.
And the mountain backdrop is absolutely breathtaking.
Even the model home presentation feels different.
Instead of just a garage and a few windows facing the street, the homes have:
- beautiful front courtyards
- dramatic entries
- architectural depth
- luxurious outdoor living
- and true resort-style design
It honestly rivals many luxury communities in North Scottsdale.
And that says a lot.
THE MOUNTAIN VIEWS ARE ACTUALLY REAL
I have zero patience for fake “mountain view” marketing.
Builders love throwing that phrase around.
But this community actually delivers.
You are surrounded by mountain terrain — not just distant desert hills miles away.
Some homes back directly toward the mountains while others capture incredible elevated city light views across the valley.
And because Regent Hills sits higher within Verrado, many of the lots feel incredibly private and scenic.
At night?
The city lights are insane.
DAVID WEEKLEY IS ABSOLUTELY CRUSHING THE DESIGN GAME
I have always loved David Weekley’s luxury product line, and this community may honestly be one of their best presentations yet.
The homes feel:
- warm
- modern
- elegant
- functional
- and extremely livable
This is not cold ultra-modern architecture that feels sterile.
These homes feel luxurious while still feeling comfortable.
And the design details throughout are stunning.
LUXURY KITCHEN FEATURES
The kitchen in the model home was unbelievable.
We are talking:
- massive waterfall island
- Wolf appliances
- Sub-Zero refrigeration
- quartz backsplash walls
- oversized cabinetry
- hidden storage
- luxury drawer systems
- butler pantry
- designer lighting
- built-in wine refrigeration
And one of the biggest trends we are seeing in 2026 luxury design?
Drawers everywhere.
Luxury buyers are demanding more practical storage instead of endless lower cabinets.
David Weekley absolutely nailed that.
SINGLE-LEVEL LUXURY IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND
This is one of the biggest reasons I think this community is going to explode in popularity.
Luxury buyers today overwhelmingly want:
- single-level homes
- larger lots
- privacy
- outdoor entertaining
- and no two-storey homes towering over them
That combination is incredibly hard to find in Phoenix right now.
Especially in gated communities with real mountain views.
And this community delivers exactly that.
THE CASITA SETUP IS FANTASTIC
One of my favorite features in the model was the detached-style guest suite setup.
It honestly felt like a luxury hotel room.
You had:
- private exterior access
- sitting area
- mini kitchenette
- beverage fridge
- microwave
- beautiful bathroom
- walk-in shower
- luxury finishes
- incredible views
This setup is perfect for:
- long-term guests
- aging parents
- adult children
- second-home visitors
- or even multigenerational living
And unlike many casitas, this one actually feels luxurious instead of feeling like an afterthought.
OUTDOOR LIVING IS THE ENTIRE POINT HERE
The backyard presentation was absolutely incredible.
Massive pool.
Firepit.
Water features.
Mountain backdrop.
City lights.
Covered entertaining spaces.
This is Arizona luxury living done correctly.
And because many of the lots are significantly larger than typical new construction lots, buyers actually have room to create meaningful outdoor living spaces.
That is becoming increasingly rare in the Phoenix market.
LET’S TALK ABOUT THE LOCATION: VERRADO
Now here comes the big question everyone asks:
“Okay… where is this?”
Regent Hills is located inside Verrado in Buckeye.
And yes, that location is going to work beautifully for some buyers and not at all for others.
So let’s break it down honestly.
WHY VERRADO HAS CHANGED DRAMATICALLY
Once upon a time, Verrado felt extremely far out.
Today?
It feels far more connected than people realize.
The community now offers:
- golf courses
- restaurants
- coffee shops
- grocery stores
- walking trails
- schools
- fitness facilities
- parks
- shopping
- community events
- and a true small-town main street feel
And Regent Hills sits inside an elevated gated luxury section of Verrado.
So you get:
- privacy
- exclusivity
- mountain scenery
- and quieter luxury living
…while still having access to the greater Verrado lifestyle.
THE HOA AND AMENITIES
At the time of this video, the HOA was approximately $189/month.
And Regent Hills residents receive:
- gated entry
- private community amenities
- exclusive pool access
- separate parks
- luxury common areas
This is important because you are NOT sharing one giant pool with thousands of residents throughout Verrado.
You still have access to the larger Verrado amenities if you want them, but Regent Hills has its own elevated luxury feel.
PRICE POINTS: SHOCKINGLY COMPETITIVE FOR LUXURY
This is where buyers from California, Washington, and other high-cost states completely light up.
The luxury pricing here is dramatically lower than comparable products in North Scottsdale.
The model home I toured sat around the $1 million price point.
And yes… for true luxury new construction with:
- mountain views
- gated entry
- large lots
- single-level layouts
- and premium finishes
…that is actually very competitive in today’s Phoenix luxury market.
In North Scottsdale, a comparable property could easily run:
- $3 million
- $4 million
- or even $5 million+
LOT SIZES AND FLOOR PLAN OPTIONS
One of the things I love about Regent Hills is the flexibility.
There are two primary series available:
OVERLOOK SERIES
- 65-foot-wide lots
- Average around 7,800 sq ft
- More modest luxury lots
- Lower price points
ALTA SERIES
- 80-foot-wide lots
- Average over 10,000 sq ft
- Nearly quarter-acre lots
- Premium luxury product
And yes, buyers can choose lots with:
- no premium
- moderate premium
- or premium mountain-facing positioning
The most desirable lots currently range around:
- $130K–$150K lot premiums
But there are still opportunities to get into the community without massive lot premiums if you move quickly.
THE BIGGEST TRADE-OFF
Now let’s be honest.
There is one major trade-off here.
You are in the Southwest Valley — not Scottsdale.
So if your lifestyle revolves around:
- luxury shopping
- Scottsdale nightlife
- high-end dining
- North Scottsdale social scenes
…that distance matters.
That is the biggest con for many luxury buyers considering Verrado.
But for buyers who prioritize:
- mountain scenery
- larger lots
- quieter luxury
- gated privacy
- golf
- and value per dollar
…this area is becoming incredibly attractive.
IS REGENT HILLS ONE OF THE BEST LUXURY OPPORTUNITIES IN PHOENIX?
Honestly?
I think it absolutely is.
Because this exact combination is so difficult to find:
- gated
- luxury
- mountain views
- single-level homes
- larger lots
- new construction
- premium builder
- relatively attainable luxury pricing
That combination rarely exists anymore.
Especially not at these price points.
And once communities like this mature and sell out, buyers almost always look back and say:
“We should have bought sooner.”
